1) Surface preparation and Coating Application

1) Visually witnessed the ambient conditions (relative humidity and steel temperature), steel temperature below 60C & surface condition of pipe surface( as per condition A & B of ISO 8501-1) before blasting and found acceptable as per ITP.2) The conductivity test done for the abrasive and found acceptable as per ITP.

3) After the blasting, the blasting grade to SA 2 1/2, chloride content below 2 g/cm2, dust level and elapsed time were checked as per the ITP and found acceptable.

4) Before coating, 1) surface temperature & pH value during acid wash, 2) chromate solution temperature and pre heating temperature (between 220 to 240 C) are confirmed and found acceptable as per the ITP.

5) Coating thickness(DFT reading) and holiday testing as per required voltage level, are checked and found acceptable as per the ITP.

2) LAB TESTING for 3LPP CoatingC.D testing done at -3.5 V with 3% NACL, at 65C and analysed after 24 hrs.
