School Uniform Supplier

Schoolblazer is the official uniform supplier to Warwick Preparatory School. As a web-based supplier, schoolblazer.com gives parents the convenience of shopping when they choose, and from wherever they are.

• Schoolblazer can be contacted on [email protected], or on 0333 7000 703. The helpline is open Monday-Friday 9am to 8pm and Saturday 9am to 5.30pm.

• Schoolblazer have an intelligent sizing system on their website to help you choose the correct size uniform.

WPSA Uniform Shop

The Warwick Preparatory School Association (WPSA) runs nearly new uniform sales on a regular basis throughout the year. Parents are given good notice of sale dates. Dates for these sales are published in the school calendar and in the WPSA section of the school website. Information on how to sell uniform through the Uniform Shop is located on the school website.

Uniform Regulations

Normally, summer uniform is worn from the beginning of the summer term (April) until the half-term of the autumn term (October). Winter uniform is worn at all other times. However, during the first half of the autumn and summer terms, pupils may choose to wear either summer or winter uniform.

All clothing, including socks, footwear and sports kit, must be clearly marked with the child’s name. Items of lost property can only be returned to the owner if we know to whom they belong.

Some items of uniform are available from high street retailers and the blue-fleece lined coat / Pre-Prep roll-neck can be purchased at a competitive price, online.

Hair and Jewellery

Girls’ hair should remain its natural colour and if shoulder length, should be tied back with blue, white, brown or black accessories (available as an option from schoolblazer.com). The girls may wear blue or pink hair accessories to match the summer dresses.

Girls are not permitted to wear jewellery and girls who have their ears pierced in the summer holiday are not permitted to return to school with earrings at the start of autumn term, or at any other time in the school year. No make-up is allowed and nail varnish is strictly forbidden.

School Hat

Girls should be aware that their hat is a compulsory item of uniform and should always be worn with the school blazer or navy fleece-lined waterproof coat. The hat does not need to be worn in the summer term, if a child opts not to wear their blazer.

Footwear

All pupils are expected to wear plain, black shoes for school. Girls may wear any style of plain, black, enclosed shoe made in traditional leather or patent upper. However, their shoes must have a low heel, must not be a slip-on style or have elaborate decorations, large bows or cut-out designs.

Pupils may not wear shoes with flashing soles or designs that have hidden compartments for toys. It is an expectation that shoes are kept polished and in good condition.
