UNIFLEX is the first cement board that allows naturally the maximum curvature, simply bending manually! Without breaking or cracking, with a radius of only 15 centimetres.

UNIFLEX is reinforced cement board 12.5 mm. thick most flexible in the market, able to reach a radius of curvature of 150 mm (90 degree angles) without breaks or cracks, and in a natural way.
Produced in a continuous cycle and obtained from a mixture of Portland cement, and on both sides, front and back, with a layer of fiberglass and polymeric lining, with a layer of fiberglass and polymeric lining, the longitudinal edges are polished, and have a smooth and robust finish thanks to technology EdgeTech®- double coated with mesh and fiberglass tape. The ends (edges of the board) at the top are straight.
It is used for beams and columns linings, arches construction, walls and curved ceilings and in any case in whichever any curved surface is necessary. It offers a sleek and sturdy support for the placement of ceramic linings, glass mosaics and brick linings or stone materials. It can be smoothed with UNIJOINT to obtain a smooth surface, ready to paint.

The UNIFLEX boards do not suffer deterioration in extreme situations. Hence its high durability in moisture saturated environments, high temperatures, as swimming pools, saunas, steam baths; and also in the presence of continuous frost, when the external environment is characterized by very harsh climates.
However, the main feature is the ability to adapt to any creative form... without the need for complex operations of prefabrication or "conformation".
Boards can be adapted to any type of support and allow any architectural form to reach sculptural forms.
Particularly useful to solve, directly in situ, requirements of curved linings without the need for predispositions or moulds for forms of profiles, grooves or arcs.

Installation does not require sophisticated equipment, the used in dry building systems is enough for the realization of more complex shapes. Easiness and speed of installation are the characteristics of this innovative product.
Boards can be smoothed with the paste on basis of cement UNIJOINT to obtain a smooth surface ready to paint.
UNIFLEX board is the ideal support for mosaics or ceramics in environments characterized by high temperature and humidity, since it is not altered or deformed.
It can withstand shocks, provides excellent static support, is resistant to fungi and bacteria.
UNIFLEX board is classified in class A1 (incombustible) in fire reaction.

UNIFLEX board allow to solve quickly and effectively all these problems at work related to the construction of surfaces or curved fittings, which often it produces slowdowns and difficulties of realization.
Arcs, curves, vault and columns have never been so easy to build without the need of superstructures with high cost or external supplies. In fact, it is possible to use standard profiles for solutions of great interest both from an aesthetic and functional point of view, and, especially in rehabilitation, where existing structures are adapted to receive pipelines of installations and ducts.
The special composition of the UNIFLEX boards also guarantees the solidity and stability in time of the product, that they are unalterable to moisture, fungi or bacteria and therefore particularly suitable in those situations where it is essential to keep the environment constantly clean.

The studs should be placed in one direction for half of the curve and in the opposite direction in the other half. For the construction of partition walls, stagger the vertical joints of the boards of at least two studs with respect to the vertical joints of the plates located on the opposite side. The outer face of the structure is indicated on the board.

UNIFLEX boards find their ideal use in those architectural situations free of traditional schemes. They are especially used in contemporary architectural interventions where constructive flexibility is an indispensable condition. Its flexibility allows to satisfy any design idea. Easy to handle and adapt, optimum to mount in a solid way and ensure more curvilinear forms.
To achieve convex curves (A), as the lining of a column, fixing the board to the main steel structure must be performed from its vertical side, screw with the appropriate self-tapping screws, and forming the sheet to the support structure, which are fixed below the successive main steel structure.
In the case of lining a structure with the concave curvature (B), the board must be initially placed in the centre of the curve and fixed to an appropriate main steel structure. Later adapt the board to the realization of the structure and fix it in direction to the exterior sides of the board.
To attach the vertical main steel structure, look at the diagram on the previous page. For lightweight supports carpentry structures, placing the crosspiece to a maximum distance of 1000 mm.

They are the supportive profiles of the boards. Metallic profiles for building walls, false ceilings, cladding walls and ventilated facades. All profiles are steel- coated by hot zinc alley immersion.
