Alpha Display Caller ID* allows you to view the name as well as the number of previous calls displayed in alphabetical order.

Alpha Memory Dialling allows you to make calls by scrolling through people’s names on your phone once you have programmed them into your phone’s memory.

Call Screening lets you listen to the caller leaving the message on the answering machine therefore allowing you to screen your call.

Caller ID Display* By subscribing to the Telephone service Providers ‘caller iD’ service, users can see the caller’s phone number and name of who is calling before picking up the phone.

Caller Tone Allocation lets you allocate different ringtones to individual phone numbers.

Conferencing allows up to four people to participate on one call – depending on the model.

Conversation Record allows the recording of a conversation from the handset or the base (more than 2 seconds and up to 10 minutes).

DECT stands for Digital enhanced cordless Telecommunications. Designed for high density living, these phones operate on a 1.8GHz frequency, which is exclusively allocated for transmission by telecommunication equipment.

Digital Spread Spectrum (DSS) are the most advanced digital phones on the market. This technology uses a higher frequency to deliver the best security, range and voice clarity. Does my Uniden cordless phone lose its memory in a power black out?in the event of a power black out all stored numbers, greetings, recordable ringtones, and messages will remain in the memory of your phone, even though you will not be able to make or receive calls during this time. However, for a 2 in 1 digital phone system that does remain operational even in power failure conditions uniden offers the ss e17+1 phone.

Do you have to put the cordless phone back on the main base all the time?no, each handset can work for an extended period of time without recharging. However, for optimum performance, we suggest you return the handset to the cradle after each telephone call.

What can I do to get the most range / performance out of my Uniden phone?To achieve maximum results from your uniden cordless phone it is recommended that you keep the phone’s base unit at least 1 metre away from other electrical appliances (i.e microwave ovens, tv, computers, faxes, etc.) mounting the base on the wall and keeping it in

line with the handset can also aid in providing a strong transmission signal. additionally an in-line filter can even be used if desired.

Will a Wireless Router or Third Party Baby Monitor interfere with cordless phones?uniden 1.8 GHz DecT and 5.8 GHz phones operate on a different frequency to typical routers and monitors so interference will not occur.
