- In Spanish, “LE” and “LES” can never go with “LO, LA, LOS, LAS.” Only when the two appear together, change “LE” and “LES” to “SE.” [Never use “ses” – it doesn’t exist].

Commands are really just a part of an important part of the Spanish language called the subjunctive, a tense used exclusively for the world of maybe.

To form:

1. take the “yo” form of the verb2. drop the “o”3. add “er/ir” endings for “ar” verbs4. add “ar” endings for “er” verbs

5. Remember rule #1 and that there are some verbs with special “yo” forms:

“Se” impersonal: to make sentences without a subject doing the action

In English: We often use “you” and “they” when we don’t really mean you or they. In British English, “one” does not do that. One would say “one.”
