User Instruction of Key Pad LockBefore starting, please plug in USB and download the software from the enclosed CD. Please refer to P2 for details.

1. Please operate and confirm the time adjustment on PC every time whenever installing batteries to set up the correct starting time record. Please refer to P2.

2. You can add, delete, change password and tracking using records using your PC. When pressing any button, the LED “Key in” will light up in blue to confirm the status.

3. Under one master ID.999 (master password 8888,), there are a total of 100 ID (001~100). Each ID has its password which includes 4 number digits. The user history data can be downloaded via USB and saved or viewed on a PC. Please refer to P2.

4. How to set up a new password. *999 8888* g *002 1234 1234# g *999 8888* g complete a) Enter the system: *Master no.999 + its password 8888* g b) Set the new password: *ID no. 002 +new password 1234 + new password 1234# g c) Jump out the system: *Master no.999 + its password 8888* g complete d) or you can operate from PC. Please refer to P4.

5. How to open the cart. a) key in password *0011234 # (blue light on to confirm the status) Please press “ * ” to start & “#” to end. For example: ID no.: 001, password 1234 b. Use the spare key In the event that the power is too low to operate the lock, then a key is provided to override the lock.

You need to use this key to complete a using cycle (use a key to open & lock as a using cycle) before operating by touchpad.

6. How to lock. a) Press “Lock” button or the cart will auto lock once all drawers are closed. b) The pre-set time for auto lock is 30 seconds. LED “Lock” will light up in red to confirm the status.

The auto lock duration time can be changed or disabled.

7. How to delete an old ID & its password. *999 8888* g *001CC# g *999 8888* g complete a) Enter the system: *Master no.999 + its password 8888* g 4 LED lights on when success b) Delete ID 001 & its password: *001CC# g c) Jump out the system: *Master no.999 + its password 8888* g complete

8. If wrong password is entered. LED “Error” will light up in red. If an incorrect code is entered, you can press “C” button once to delete

and try again.

9. Power source. The E Lock is powered by 6 x Type C Batteries. The average battery lifetime is 8,000 entries. The

“Low” warning LED will be illuminated in red and flash every 5 seconds to warn when the power is low and it requires the battery replacement.

10. User tracking history The user tracking record is up to 5,000 entries. This record includes the user, date, on/off time and

duration. 4 LED’s will light up to warn if the memory is over 4,800 entries. If the user tracking history does not been downloaded, then overwriting will occur automatically.

E-Lock Software ManualBefore starting, please plug in the USB and download the software from the enclosed CD to your PC. Future files will be saved under the same folder. A. When clicking the software eLock_2013-03-16_V1.0.exe, it shows the following window. Please key in * Login: admin * Password: xyzYYYYMMDD (xyz + operating date) (For example: Operating date: 2013/1/8, password: xyz20130108)

B. Correct time of e-clock: If the time difference between e-lock and PC is over one minute, the following window will appear to confirm time correction. Please click Y to update e-lock time.

C. It will go to the following main window.

Edit/ change/ delete password• User ID: it shows 001 to 100 automatically• Password: 4-digit number combination only. After key in password, the column Y/N will be clicked. If

you uncheck this box, the password will be deleted as well.

2. If you want to change Admin password xyzYYYYMMDD, please click the following button to process.

3. Default Master combination: ID: 999, password: 8888 If you want to change the above master password 8888, please key in new number and click OK to

save.

4. Read all password: When clicking, all ID & password will be shown on PC.

5. Save Password: After you edit, delete or change a password or want to save this file, please click this button to save in e-Lock and the same drive as e-lock software. (If you download the software on the screen, the file will save on the screen as well)

6. Read Records: When clicking, all records show on PC and save this file in the same drive as e-lock software. (If you download the software on the screen, the file will be saved on the screen as well)

7. Clear all records: After saving all records in a file, please click it to clear all data.

8. Disable Auto-Lock Time: The auto-lock function will disable if clicking it. You only can press the lock button to lock the cart.

9. Check AutoLock Time: You can check the Auto lock time by clicking this button 9. (The preset time: 30 seconds)

10. Save AutoLock Time: If you plan to change the time of auto lock, please key in new time (3 digits in seconds) and click to save. (If you want to set 20 seconds, please key in 020.)

13. Serial no. of E-Lock: When clicking the file “eLock_2013-03-16_V1.0.exe”, you will see it on the window of left top corner as “00000999 “.

When clicking Function 4(Save password) & Function 6(Read records), following two files will be saved under the folder of serial no. 00000999.

This file shows all ID & password.

This file shows all tracking record including ID, on/off time & date as Function 6 on P4.
