• `She connected with anyone who she came across. She took a walk in their shoes. She was so enthusiastic about her job. Mavis never complained. Competition soon began getting heavy. Mavis started taking on big challenges.

Unethical Sales Story Mavis gave her company a bad

name. As time went by Mavis had to pay the consequences for her unethical behavior.

One situation Mavis engaged herself in caught everyone’s

attention

Mavis was promoting a knew brand of candy. During this time she was competing with Snickers and

Reese’s. They were her biggest competition. She knew that she might not be able to stand a chance

against them.

She couldn’t think of anything to win over her competitors. Soon she realized what she had to do to get every customers money.

As she persuaded people to buy her new product, she constantly put Snickers and

Reese’s down. She thought of the biggest lies ever. Even though her mind was telling her that what she was doing was unethical, she didn’t care. She worked her charm and kept a smile

on her face.

She warned consumers about the unhealthiness of Snickers and Reese's. She claimed that her product was sugar free when it wasn’t. She fooled all of her

customers except one. His name was Roy Benet. He was a rough guy. He’d never let anyone trick him. No

one knew that he always had a sweet tooth.

When Mavis came to his door, he cooperated with her. He couldn’t believe the things Mavis was telling him.

She told him how much better and healthier her candy was compared to Snickers and Reese’s. Roy knew

something wasn’t right so he asked Mavis if he could taste the candy. She hesitated for awhile then she gave

him the candy.

As soon as the candy hit his month he knew the candy wasn’t sugar free. He

read the back of the wrapper and everything. He caught Mavis acting in her

unethical behaviors.

Ever since the story got out about Mavis lying to customers, her company was changed.

People believe that all the sales people in that company lie.

Mavis was fired from her job when her boss found out. She was sorry for her actions.
