UNDERSTANDING THE G12 VISION(PART 1)

JESUS SELECTED TWELVE APOSTLESJesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues,

preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and

sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because theywere harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to hisdisciples, The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of theharvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.- Matthew 9:35-38

He called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive outevil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. - Matthew 10:1

WHY JESUS DID SELECTED TWELVE APOSTLES?- TO REAP THE SOULS THAT NEED TO BE HARVESTED

WHY TWELVE AND NOT ELEVEN, TEN, SEVEN, THIRTEEN OR ANY OTHERNUMBER?- 12 IS THE NUMBER OF GOVERNMENT

THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN ADMINISTRATION

God established twelve months to govern the year (January to December)

Days are governed by two periods of twelve hours each (12 hours day and 12hours night)

THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN ADMINISTRATION

King Solomon had twelve governorsSolomon also had twelve district governors over all Israel, who suppliedvisions for the king and the royal household. Each one had to provide

supplies for one month in the year. - 1 Kings 4:7

THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN RESTORING THE ALTAR OF GODThen Elijah said to all the people, Come here to me. They came to him,and he repaired the altar of the LORD, which was in ruins. Elijah took twelvestones, one for each of the tribes descended from Jacob, to whom the word ofthe LORD had come, saying, Your name shall be Israel. With the stones hebuilt an altar in the name of the LORD 1 KINGS 18:30-32a

THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IS USED IN BIRTHING AND ESTABLISHING ANATION

Jacob had 12 sons who became 12 tribes and became one nation the nation

of Israel.

JESUS APPLIED THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE IN ESTABLISHING HISCHURCH

Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted, andthey came to him. He appointed twelve designating them apostles - MARK3:13-14Aa

THE EARLY CHURCH SELECTED ANOTHER APOSTLE IN PLACE OF JUDAS

(With the reward he got for his wickedness, Judas bought a field; there hefell headlong, his body burst open and all his intestines spilled out. 19 Everyone in

Jerusalem heard about this, so they called that field in their language Akeldama,that is, Field of Blood.) For, said Peter, it is written in the book of Psalms,May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it, and, May anothertake his place of leadership.

Therefore it is necessary to choose one of the men who have been with usthe whole time the Lord Jesus went in and out among us, beginning from Johnsbaptism to the time when Jesus was taken up from us. For one of these mustbecome a witness with us of his resurrection.

So they proposed two men: Joseph called Barsabbas (also known as Justus)and Matthias. Then they prayed, Lord, you know everyones heart. Show uswhich of these two you have chosen to take over this apostolic ministry,which Judas left to go where he belongs. Then they cast lots, and the lot fell toMatthias; so he was added to the eleven apostles.- ACTS 1:18-26

THE VISION OF THE GOVERNMENT OF TWELVE AS REVEALED BY GOD TOCESAR CATELLANOS

If you train twelve people and you manage to reproduce in them thecharacter of Christ which is in you. And if every one of them does the same withanother twelve people, and if these, in turn, do the same with another twelve,transmitting the same vision to each other, you and your church will experienceunprecedented growth

The Mens Youth Network is under the Mens Network and the Womens YouthNetwork under the Womens Network.

Only the G12 groups and Discipleship groups are homogeneous but the OpenCells are heterogeneous (mixed).

DISCIPLES OF JESUS CHRISTTwo things about a disciple:1. He is willing to give up everything for the sake of Christ (self-denial).2. He is willing to obey every commandment of Christ (work).

2. WILLING TO DO ANYTHING FOR CHRISTAll authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and

make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the

Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I havecommanded you. MATTHEW 28:18-20a

TRUE DISCIPLES IMITATE JESUSAnd anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be mydisciple LUKE 14:27

PATTERN YOURSELVES after me [follow my example], as I imitate and

follow Christ (the Messiah). - 1 Corinthians 11:1 (Amplified Bible)

WE NEED TO PATTERN OURSELVES AFTER:

1. The life of Jesus (character)2. The Ministry of Jesus (changing lives)

THE MINISTRY OF JESUS1. Preaching the gospel of the kingdom2. Healing the sick3. Delivering the demonized4. Feeding the hungry5. Making strong disciples

TRUE DISCIPLES OF JESUS WILL MAKE DISCIPLES

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name

of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obeyeverything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the veryend of the age. MATTHEW 28:19-20

DISCIPLES MAKE DISCIPLESIn the G12 Vision every believer is being trained and equipped to become like Jesusin character and in ministry. We will only call a believer a disciple if he or shestarts to win souls and make disciples. Everybody is in the process of being adisciple. A disciple is a disciple maker!

YOU NEED TO BE DISCIPLED TO BECOME A MATURE DISCIPLETherefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name

of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obeyeverything I have commanded you. MATTHEW 28:19-20

THINGS YOU NEED TO HAVE TO GROW AND MATURE1. Faithfulness2. Availability3. Initiative4. Teachable5. Humility
