PSU Center for Sustainability:
Parking Lot Section B
Concept: A hub for entertainment and education to promote sustainable living among the Penn State community.
Objective: To create a campus master plan for the 5.5 acre Penn State Center for Sustainability site.
P r o f e s s o r W i l b e r d i n g
Intent: Implement a campus design with a clear organizational system and with strong connections to Penn State’s larger sports facilities.
Create an outdoor classroom that can accommodate both large and small crowds. Develop a dynamic spatial transition from one portion of the site to another.

Agricultural Patterns Analysis:Objective: Map, research, and identify agricultural patterns in Furguson Township. Create a plan for the prime agricultural land and determine the appropriate future use for the township.
Methods: Discover what is causing the loss of prime farmland by analyzing land use, soils, zoning, and existing protected farms. Determine which farms are of greatest threat to development.

Conclusions: A green belt of protected farmland on the periphery of Ferguson Township could provide a stronghold for the prime agricultural land. The belt could make connections between the existing permanently protected farmland and the farm land that is proposed to be protected.

Objective: Create a planting design for the Oakwood Presbyterian Church. Design outdoor spaces which respond to the existing site and the needs of the church community.
Concept: Landscape response to the mod-ernist architecture. Landscape as an exten-sion of church functions.
Intent: To make functional spaces for prayer, meditation, and fellowship. Create a variety of spaces which function both programmatically and visually as an extension of the church’s architecture.

Concept: Houts Recycled- Restore and renovate the infrastructure, create multiple living options, and convert the Houts property into a thriving center.
Intent: To preserve the local character of the West End, State College and create a diverse community with multiple living options. Introduce the agricultural context of the State College area and make it an integral part of the community.
Objective: To create a community design plan for the West End Neighborhood, State College, PA. Use the vacant O. W. Houts Shopping Center property as high value residential or business opportunity.

Piazza Sforza Cesarini Site
Objective: Create a contemporary piazza design along Via Corso Vittorio Emanuel. The piazza should connect to multiple modes of ������� ���� ������ ���������� �����
Concept: Transform Piazza Sforza Cesarini into an active piazza where the people become an active member of the site and the monument becomes the spectator.
Intent: To heal the imposing piazza and create a place for pedestrians to see and be seen. To provide evaporative cooling for tourists walking down Via Corso.

Objective: Since the 1950’s Youngstown’s population has shrunk by half. The primary objective of the park is to make connections to Youngstown’s Covelli Centre and to reintroduce the post-industrial city to the Mahoning River which is currently bounded by two active railways.

Concept: Create an experience of urban density through a sequence of varied landscape patches. A modular system of vegetation at varying stages of forest succession for the city to effectively manage.

Objective: To create a boathouse and park for the Middle Susquehanna River Valley. Clients include: Bucknell University Crew team. Susquehanna University Crew team, and the Central PA Rowing Association. Project Funded by DCNR.
Intent: To foster a partnership amongst neighboring river towns and envision an exciting boathouse and park for the Middle Susquehanna Valley Region.
Susquehanna Studio: Multidisciplinary internship with students of graphic design, engineering, geography, and landscape architecture. Lead intern in the Susquehanna River Sports Park Project.

PA Downtown Center Internship:Ten-week college internship program in collaboration with Keep PA Beautiful and the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society with a mission to beautify downtown Pennsylvania neighborhoods.
Internship:
Elm Street welcomes interns for landscape design Projects
Objective: Working with a fellow landscape architecture intern, collaborate with the Elm Street Community in Pottsville, PA to design and build a half acre park overlooking the city. Responsibilities include: coordination with the community and city �������� �������� � � !��"� � ���!� ��Project Management- site layout, excavation, on-site grading, plantings, and volunteer work coordination.
