Twisted Sister's genesis lay in a band called Silver Star. Motivate

by Kiss, The New York Dolls and David Bowie's then-current Zigg

Stardust persona, John Segall (aka Jay Jay French) was looking

join a "Glitter band". He ran into Mell Anderson (aka Mell Starr,

Twisted Sister's first drummer) and was offered a gig with New

Jersey band Silver Star. By early 1973 the band had re-christene

themselves Twisted Sister and worked up a set of Bowie, Lou Re

and Mott the Hoople covers.

The next year Twisted Sister released their own single I'll Never

Poland, on the 9th of April, 2015, at which they performed the

brilliant latest album "Hyperdrive" nearly in its entirety, the DV

showcases Knight Area's absolute mastery of the prog aesthe

their impressive musicianship, sensitivity, and style. The relea

also features interviews with Mark Smit, Gerben Klazinga, Ma

Bogert, and Pieter van Hoorn, a photo gallery and other extra

as well as an audio CD version of the material! Knight Area is

Dutch progressive rock band which was formed in 2004 by

brothers Joop and Gerben Klazinga. The band play rock mus

with roots in symphonic and neo-progressive rock. The music

blends a variety of styles using very melodic keyboards and

guitars and the dynamic songs vary from ballads to more rock

and metal kind of music. In October 2014, the band released

their fifth studio album "Hyperdrive". The album was mixed by

Joost van den Broek (After Forever, Ayreon, Star One) and A

Anthony Lucassen (Ayreon, Star One) contributed to the albu

by playing guitar on one track. In April 2015, the band played Poland for the first time as support for Arena (UK). One of the

shows was recorded by Metal Mind Productions.

WHEN TOTO RELEASED their game changing fourth album‘Toto IV’ nobody, least of all the band, expected it to resonateloudly with the public. Don Henley's second solo record, 'Building The Perfect Beast' wasreleased in November 1984 and included the haunting Boys OfSummer, a huge single hit on both sides of the Atlantic and acomposition which remains a true '80s classic - for which he won aGrammy Award for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. All SheWants To Do Is Dance, Sunset Grill and Not Enough Love In TheWorld were also released as singles and all four were Billboard hits -

the latter also notably covered by Cher in 1996. 'The Beast' is furtherliberally represented here via the inclusion of the title track, Drivin'With Your Eyes Closed, You Can't Make Love and You're NotDrinking Enough. Of course, Henley was duty bound to acknowledgehis position in the best-selling US band of all time and thus includestwo of The Eagles' greatest hits in his set: Desperado and HotelCalifornia, both of which, of course, originally featured his ownoutstanding lead vocals, drawn from the 1973 and 1976 albums ofwhich these classics are the title tracks. Don went on to have furthermajor successes with his albums 'The End Of Innocence' (1989) and'Inside Job' (2000), but this 1985 broadcast recording remainstestament of a golden period in this remarkable artist's astonishinglyauspicious career.

This show was aired on FM Radio and the results of that broadcacan be heard on this CD. Backed by a powerhouse combo thatincluded longtime CSN band mate Michael Finnigan (keyboards)Dan Dugmore (guitar), Jody Cortez (drums), and Davey Faraghe(bass/vocals), the stripped down sound suits Crosby as his poweemotive vocals, and strident fretwork has rarely been as well defior as energetic as they are here. setting on the opening pairing of 'Tracks In the Dust' and one of tmost hauntingly beautiful readings of 'Guinnevere' ever to have bcommitted to tape. While not a huge commercial success, Oh YeCan, along with the tour designed to promote it, was an importanartistic statement for David Crosby. It marked his return to the popantheon and featured some of the best non-CSN music he has made. Tracks from the album here rub shoulders with a number oold classics rearranged for this band and tour - among them 'Déjàvu', 'Wooden Ships', 'Almost Cut My Hair' and 'Long Time Gone'.
