• Do fuel receipts indicate time spent fueling properly logged as on-duty?• Is the use of the vehicle for personal conveyance properly logged? • 9+ hours driving may require additional scrutiny.• Was the time spent during a driver and/or vehicle destination inspection properly

Chicago, IL – Party Bus Ordinance Update
• Chicago passed an ordinance requiring a security guard and video cameras on each coach that may stop somewhere where alcohol is sold .
• The Midwest Bus & Motorcoach Association retained a lobbyist to work on amending the ordinance to exempt traditional charter bus.
Unified Carrier Registration - 2019 UCR Registration Period Delayed Indefinitely
• The start of the 2019 UCR registration period is delayed until further notice. • FMCSA must complete its rulemaking process on fee levels for 2019. • Once the rulemaking is published, the UCR Board will issue a recommended enforcement date three (3) months from
the start of the registration period.
