WHAT’S POPPIN’ LOUNGE AT SWEET SUITE

On July 24, the the Toy Insider will host the 10th annual Sweet Suite event, know as the BIGGEST

Night of Play, at Pier Sixty in New York City. The event welcomes more than 250 digital influencers,

150 members of traditional press, and 80 toy brands to meet face-to-face and get hands-on with

the hottest toys and games of the holiday season. Guests enjoy delicious food and cocktails, all

while getting a first look at new product reveals and making new industry connections.

The Pop Insider will #fuelyourfandom at the second annual Pop Insider Lounge at Sweet Suite!

Surrounded on three sides by the Hudson River, the What’s Poppin’ Lounge is

THE place to be at Sweet Suite for the cool kids, the comic book geeks,

and the fans of all things pop culture! Sponsors in this space will

showcase products that will be coveted by adult collectors and fans

of popular TV and SVOD shows, feature films, comic books, and video

games. Press visiting this space include digital influencers with pop culture

and entertainment blogs and YouTube channels, as well as millennial-focused

media. Past attendees included Mashable, BuzzFeed, Inside Edition, People Magazine, Entertain-

ment Weekly, iHeartMedia, and SiriusXM, as well as producers from the TODAY show, Dr Oz, and

12 DAYS OF FANDOM IN THE WHAT’S POPPIN’ LOUNGE AT HOLIDAY OF PLAY

The Pop Insider blew the press away in 2018 with the first-ever 12 Days

of Fandom, a station featuring an editorially curated selection of the

12 coolest gifts for adult pop culture fans, celebrating favorite TV

and SVOD series, feature films, comic books, and video games.

For 2019, the second annual 12 Days of Fandom will once again

feature our Pop Insider team’s favorite picks for geeky holiday gifts that

#fuelyourfandom. Sponsors in the Pop Insider’s What’s Poppin’ Lounge at

HoliDAY of Play will showcase their geek-chic products to top-tier press and influencers in a special

designated space at HoliDAY of Play.

The Toy Insider’s Holiday of Play is a one-of-a-kind cocktail party that welcomes more than

130 members of the media, including traditional press, top lifestyle bloggers, and YouTube

personalities.

At Holiday of Play, the Toy Insider unveils its holiday toy guide for the first time, including

the highly influential Hot 20, Top Tech 12, and STEM 10 lists. Guests are able to get hands-on

experience with these toys before anyone else, all while sipping on cocktails and enjoying sweeping

views of New York City.

Plus, sponsors set up around the room with exciting activations designed to draw in media

attendees. Sponsors show off their key holiday drivers with engaging, hands-on experiences for the

media to connect with.
