Ramco's 4-station semiautomated aqueous de- greasing system includes optional conveyors for material handling from station to station. The process is designed for washing, cascade rinsing, and drying a wide variety of alloys and configura- tions. Each processing chamber includes an inte- gral t ransport elevator that eliminates the need to put baskets into tanks (or pull them out) by hand. Features include ultrasonics with cascading se- quenced t imer to al ternate with directional solu- tion turbulation. Other s tandard options are ill- tration and high-capacity oil removal with Surface Sweep feature to prevent surface oil from depos- iting onto cleaned parts. The system is effective for processing components with deep blind holes and/or recessed areas. Drying is accomplished us- ing a hot-air knife blow-off dryer with variable temperature and humidi ty controls.
