Goodyear's revolutionary stud technology with it's innovative pin shape and body interlocking geometry ensures stud directional position and effectiveness on Ice.

Optimized studs distribution

Interlocking geometry if giving a fixed direction of the stud on the tire as it does not allow any rotation.

The pin is consequently always at the same position and can act the most efficient way thanks to its shape specially design to maximize all features we need to keep control on Ice: Braking, traction and Handling.

In order maximize the control, stud distribution has been optimized all over the tire.
