Note: The o-ring and back-up ring must be in this configuration. The curve of the back-up must be facing the o-ring.

DESCRIPTION

The HPHT Time Delay Firing system is used in conjunction with anyUltra HPHT Firing System. The HPHT Time Delay System consistsof the time delay hardware, an igniter and a pyrotechnic time delayfuse. The igniter will be contained in a TC-005 series detonator body.The single fuse system allows for a time of (6 minutes) between theactivation of the firing head to detonation of the perforating guns Thistime interval allows the bleeding off of the pressure used to activatethe firing head to establish an underbalance condition or to performanother needed operation prior to perforation. In the event that a moretime is required, extra fuses may be incorporated into the systemusing the Ultra HPHT Extended Time Delay Hardware.

Note: This hardware is to be used when downhole pressures are between 20,000 psi to 30,000 psi and the temperature is above 350°F (176°C).(Ref. Temp/Time Chart)
