Nick riewoldt started off his life in Hobart/Tasmania. He and his family moved up to the Queensland when he

was nine year old. Riewoldt was recruited from south port Queensland. He was the saint number one draft pick in 2000 riewoldt has been a star forward since 2001.

Nick has been in four finals in a row captaining them all and been since 2005 and still is at the age of 29 nick has kicked 504 goals and played 230 games. nick has won the best and fairest for his club 5 times.

Jimmy Stynes

An Irish-Australian,

Sporting Legend

Jimmy Stynes was born on April the 23, 1966 and sadly lost his battle to cancer on the 20th of March, 2012. Jimmy was born in Dublin, Ireland and came to Australia when he was 18, where he became a well-known and respected AFL player for the Melbourne Football Club. He was awarded the Brownlow Medal in 1991 and then he got into the Hall of Fame. He played a league record 244 consecutive games between 1987 and 1998. After his football career, Jimmy worked towards a Youth program and launched the ‘Reach Foundation,’ which he co-founded in 1994. He helped young people find confidence and helped them to reach their goals. On the 2nd of July, 2009 Jimmy told the media that he had cancer. His cancer started as skin cancer, which ended up spreading to his brain. He had lots of treatment but unfortunately lost his life to cancer three years later.
