PROPHYLAXIS OF DISEASES OF

TISSUES OF PERIODONTIUM.

A prophylaxis (greek. prophylaktikos is preventive) is the system of the state, social,

hygienic, medical measures directed on providing of high

health and prevention of illnesses.

Etiologic– An etiologic prophylaxis is developed

Its efficiency is 70-100 %.

illness is the most often conducted. Its efficiency

- 40-50%.

The Antenatalic prophylaxis foresees the influence on the organism of a child, in particular on organs and tissues of cavity of mouth, for forming of optimum health to its birth through the organism of expectant mother. This direction of primary prophylaxis is the major, but it is not enough developed and inculcated in practice.
