PharmacoEconomics & Outcomes News 429 - 13 Sep 2003 ■ The UK Department of Health (DoH) has published long-awaited proposals for pricing, reimbursement and supply arrangements for generic drugs under the NHS, says the Pharmaceutical Journal. Drug manufacturers will be allowed to set their own prices in a competitive market, although in monopoly and near-monopoly situations, constraints on price increases will be imposed.
