London remains the national architectural hub, offering the strongest salaries and most job opportunities. Salaries achieved were primarily influenced by two key factors; the size of the practice recruiting and the candidate’s ability to use Revit proficiently. The largest AJ100 and WA100 architectural studios continue to offer the most competitive salary levels in the market.

Those individuals with two or more years’ professional, in practice, Revit experience remained the most in-demand candidate group across all job levels. This is subsequently reflected by a domination of the higher paid salary spots for their grade.

Outside of London, the two most buoyant markets continue to be in Manchester and Birmingham. Salaries offered for candidates in these areas are steadily approaching those offered to their peers in London.
