Our Drive

From a young age, we loved to be connected with the creative source and we wanted to contribute to the world. This is how we met in Delft at the Technical University, in Architecture and Industrial Design. Slightly different, but both a combination of creativity and technology. Eventually our paths separated, but our friendship remained and our lives developed miraculously parallel to each other. One studying the development of children and the education system worldwide, the other studying mechanical engineering and the behaviour of marine structures in challenging environments. Living at different places, even when we both specialised in our own field of expertise, we stayed connected. One starting her own Montessori School in Italy and the other establishing a scientific research in fatigue damage behaviour; we made the challenging decision to do more with our creative source of energy and start working together as one.

Coming from different and similar worlds, we came to the fundamental conclusion that we are nature and we cannot live without it. We, as human beings, have the responsibility to care and to take care of nature. We need to learn to live in harmony with nature and all that lives on this planet; our world, our home. This requires a shift in our awareness and this change is inevitable, if we want to remain on this planet.

We understand perfectly well, change is not always easy because of the fear of change itself. A new world, requires new ideas. To find the willingness to be open for such new beliefs, underlying feelings need to be in alignment. Everything starts with a connection, with ourselves and with each other. Only then, new ways of thinking can be integrated.

The world is going through massive changes. Some changes are for the better, but others bring imbalance to nature and life on this planet which requires a collective solution. If we remain in the old belief system of competition, we stay in conflict with ourselves and with each other. We identify winners and losers, instead of seeing the potential beauty of all individuals and their unique creative contribution to the whole. Sharing a community and the world, is only possible if we acknowledge oneness.

We have a collective purpose here on this planet, Gaia. Gaia is the playground to express true harmonic love. We all share the legacy to find our own unique expression of true love, to bring harmony.

To make this shift in awareness together, we visualise and verbalise these ideas through art. Art that is of all times and with a universal meaning and purpose.
