The connector complies with the requirements of UIC 558 VE (up to 1994: UIC 568 VE). It connects lines used for the: remote control of lights remote control of doors public address systems in passenger coaches

and multiple units transmission of binary data

We can also supply contact inserts for special applications.

Rugged design The receptacle features an emergency release that

ensures, provided the receptacle is installed in the correct position, a non-destructive separation of plug and receptacle when two electrically not decoupled vehicles move apart.

contacts Uses the same basic design for normal receptacles

and dummy receptacles. The conversion of dummy receptacles into normal receptacles is done by fitting the appropriate contacts.
