DEPOSITION GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

B.A., B.Sc.) or courses that have compulsory subjects { for eg. B.Com.,B.Com.(Hons.),LL.B.(Hons)}.

Candidates who have opted for single course in their application form too have to provide their subject combination or options, e.g. B.A. only of B.Sc. etc or for courses that have compulsory subjects, e.g. B.Com., LL.B. (Hons.) etc.

Candidates who do not fill their options will not be considered for allotment of seat. All such candidates would lose their chance of getting admitted to the University of Lucknow.

Candidates can save their choices and can rearrange them again. The options cannot be changed once they have been finally locked.

Candidates have to lock their choices within the given time. Candidates who have saved their options but have not locked their choices in the given time, they would be automatically locked once the deadline is over. Their allotment would be done on the basis of their unlocked options.

Candidates opting for more than one course in single registration number would be allotted a seat in the courses in order of preference given by him/her. The other lower preferred options would not be considered once a seat has been allotted to the applicant in the course of higher priority.

All such candidates have to deposit the admission fees (seat confirmation fees) within three days of declaration of allotment.

The second round of seat allotment will be made against vacant seats available after the first round of allotment. This process would be initiated after the due date for depositing the fees is over in the first allotment.

There is no fresh choice submission in second round of counselling. Choices submitted before first round allotment will be considered in this round of allotment.

The third round of allotment would be made against the remaining vacant seats after the second round of counselling.

Candidate will deposit the fees within given time limit towards his/her allotment to ensure admission to the University. The fees can be deposited at the SBI site through all the modes that were available earlier in registration process.

Details of Seats Available Faculty of Arts B.A. (Honours)

1. There shall be a Honours Course in three Academic Sessions on full time basis. 2. Students will be required to take 12 papers in all (compulsory and optional papers) in

each of Honours. Course in three Academic Sessions. 3. The candidate has to opt. one (Honours.) Subject and two subsidiary subjects in B. A.

(Honours) Part I & II. In Honours. IIIrd year, only Honours subject will be taught. In B.A. Honours. Ist year and IInd year, there shall be three papers in Honours subject and two papers of subsidiary subjects. In Honours IIIrd year, there will be six papers of Honours subject.
