Welcome Message

Dear Colleagues, It is with immense pleasure that the organizing committee cordially invites you to attend the 3rd Upper Egypt Assisted Reproductive Conference (UEARS 2018), to be held from 21 to 23 February at the Marriott Zamalek, Cairo, Egypt. UEARS 2018 has a cutting edge scientific program designed to foster innovation and collaboration to fill the gap between science and practice in assisted reproduction.

UEARS is becoming the premier conference for the vast and varied assisted reproduction community, contributing towards the uptake of updated and advanced techniques to assist practitioners in overcoming treatment challenges. There were well over 1,500 registrants at UEARS 2016, and 1,950 registrants at UEARS 2017, and for UEARS 2018 we are targeting 2,500 registrants.

The main theme of UEARS 2018 is “Exploring the in vivo and in vitro micro-environment of human gametes and embryos.” As the theme implies, there will be speakers from the forefront of the field of assisted reproduction, with an iconic mixture of international & Egyptian scholars. The mission of UEARS 2018 is to link all areas of assisted reproduction and infertility with their sub-disciplines by bringing together national and international leaders for in-depth discussions on the ongoing issues in this rapidly developing field.

The conference will feature state-of-the art lectures from key opinion leader scientists in a mixture of plenary lectures, interdisciplinary symposia, and hands-on workshops. There will also be oral and poster sessions for all the participants to facilitate discussions on diagnosis; improve access and quality care; optimize the coordination of service providers; and foster high impact clinical research to expedite improved medical treatments. The conference mainly aims at the education of the medical community and dissemination of reliable information to at-risk populations. We hope to build on the already outstanding tradition of the UEARS and develop further opportunities to shrink the gap between science and clinical practice.

UEARS 2018 will be hosted in Cairo, a vibrant, exhilarating, exotic, fascinating and welcoming city with a unique nature and peaceful atmosphere. Home to the best pharaonic, Coptic and Islamic sights in Egypt, you never know what incredible, half-forgotten monument you might stumble across while wandering around the city where the Nile divides into the Delta.

We look forward to seeing you in UEARS 2018, Cairo, Egypt.

Organizing Committee, UEARS 2018
