"All of us do not have equal talent. But, all of us have an equal opportunity to develop our talents.”

- A.P.J Abdul Kalam

elcome to the December issue of The Unitian Newsletter. WMany of our readers will now be emerging from the challenges of a summer season and will be eagerly

looking ahead to the renewal that comes with winter. I hope some of the articles/features in this issue will contribute to that seasonal glow of renewal and enrichment. I’m happy to state that progress has been made in establishing a flow of beaming articles for The Unitian.

It was an opportunity to gather together and organize ideas that were worth sharing with the UGI community at large. It’s encouraging as well to report that our recently established United University is thriving at a fast pace. In this issue the editors have provided an insightful assessment of recent events of diverse panorama. New technology brings in opportunities along with new skill set requirements and challenges. Students have to fit into the requirements of companies that recruit across the globe. The readers of this newsletter will, by and large, have a reasonably established interpretation of what the vision of United Group of Institution implies. The Highlights of this issue includes Inauguration of United University, Founder’s Day at Allahabad and Greater Noida, the knowledge enriched Industrial Visits, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Summer Education Camp at AIT Bangkok, Mariam Maroof (Student UGI) creating history scoring 93.9% in UPTU exam, Last but never the less humongous placement drives leading to overall metamorphosis of the students, and persistent exposure and academic transformation of the faculty and staff.

Once again I would like to express my considerable appreciation to all contributors of the events in this issue. These contributions have required a generous contribution of time and effort. It is this willingness to make the effort to share knowledge, concerns and special insights with the United Group of Institutions at large that has made this issue possible. Thank you all!!
