This past week, Lincoln Heritage’s Winter Wonderland 2018 Incentive Trip was held at the beautiful Fairmont Chateau at Lake Louise, locatedinBanff NationalPark,Canada.ThisisaregionIhadlongdesiredtovisit,anditsnaturalbeautywasabsolutelybreathtaking.The accommodations and activities were outstanding as Cheryl Londenandherteamonceagainproducedatrulymemorableevent.The greatest pleasure I experience at these conferences is the opportunity to interact with and observe the quality of individuals who winthetrip.Therearemanydifferentpersonalitiesandstylesamongthenearly220qualifiersandtheirguests.Inmostinstances,theguestsarespousesorsignificantothersofthewinnersandhaveprovided substantial encouragement and support to the contest qualifiersalongthewayastheyendeavoredtowintheincentivetrip.If you asked me to summarize in one word the most common trait amongstthecontestwinners,Iamproudtosayintegrity.Ilovetohear the personal stories of what drives the winners, and it inevitably includes wanting to be of assistance to others in planning for a day thatiscertaintocome,andtoprovidecomfortaswellasfinancialandemotionalsupportduringthatverydifficulttime.

Fartoomanypeoplespendtheirlivesonlyearningaliving,whichinitselfisanoblething.However, we in the life insurance industry, have the added privilege of truly making a meaningfuldifferenceinourcustomers’liveswhileatthesametimeseizingtheopportunitytopursueourindividualgoalsanddreams.

The 2018 Tom Londen Memorial Golf Tournament is on! Join us in sunny Scottsdale for fundraising and fun!

Last year, we raised over $100,000 for Cancer Immunotherapy Research. This year we are supporting a different kind of cancer-fi ghting organization: the Arizona Cancer Foundation

for Children. They offer real help to families devastated by a cancer diagnosis in their children. From fi nancial support to travel arrangements to hospital visits with therapy dogs, ACFC is there for these families during the toughest times in their lives. It is a very worthy cause for which we

can make a real difference.

The best part of doing all this good is that we get to have fun while we do it! The event kicks off on Friday, April 20, 2018 with an evening reception at the beautiful Talking Stick Resort & Casino. It continues on Saturday, April 21 right down the

street at the Talking Stick Golf Club. While the golfers enjoy the fantastic course, others can enjoy a special showcase at Kendra Scott Jewelry. Either way, everyone is welcome to meet by the

Resort pool Saturday night to wind down.

This is a gorgeous getaway for all qualifiers and their guests.

The Top Agent, Top 2 Managers, and Top 3 Regional Directors will receive Business Class flights and limousine ser-vice to/from the airport in your arrival and departure cities (based upon availability).

GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. AllQualifiersmustbeactiveandingoodstanding as of the time of the trip in order to qualify and attend.

2. Cash bonuses (or equivalent) will be paid on the trip.

3. There will be a 10% production bonus on all applications that include a completed FCGS membershipform.

4. All reservations will be non-cancellable, if you commit to the trip and do not attend, you will be chargedforanynonrefundableportionofthecost.

5. Propertraveldocumentationisrequired.

6. Apart from cash bonuses, the trip has no cash value.Ifyouqualifyanddonotattend,thenthereis no payment due to you other than cash bonuses earnedasdescribedherein.

7. Thistripisforadultsonly.Itisokaytobringaminor as your guest if they are your child and at least16.Ifyouarebringingadditionalchildrenorguests, please make your own arrangements for them(includingtransferstoandfromtheairport).All company functions, including receptions, meetingsandmeals,areforyouandyourguest.Unfortunately, additional guests are unable to attendanycompanyfunction.

8. The company may use an alternative airport, flight,orairlineotherthanyourpreference.Anyadditional costs from any variation from such will beatyourownexpense.

9. Pleasecontacttheairlinedirectlyifyouareusingairlinemilestoupgradeortoaddaguest.

10. If you are extending your trip beyond the company convention, please make your own hotel and travel arrangementsforthatpartofyourtrip.

11. The company reserves the right to change any of the terms and conditions of these contest rules, and company records will be used to determine qualifiers.

PRO RATA QUALIFICATION

Any new agent or agency (not previously with the company) that becomes active during the contest period and who writes the equivalent required production on a prorated basis will qualify for the trip (no bonus), provided the agent is currently active and has been in production with the company since August 2018, at least twelve consecutive months prior to the endofthecontestperiod.

PERSISTENCY ADJUSTMENT

Company standards are 80% valid* 7th month persistencyand10%NTOrateoncheckingaccountbusiness (Savings and debit/credit card production and persistency will be calculated into your contest total, ifpersistencyoneachoftheseisatleast70%).Iffirstyear persistency is lower than 7th month, then it will be used.ForeachpercentagepointthatyourpersistencyandNTOrateishigherorlowerthanthecompanystandards, your production will be adjusted up or down byalikeamount.Forexample,ifyourpersistencyis2%better than company standards, then your production willbeincreasedby2%.

Direct bill business does not count toward contest totals.

IfthepersistencyandNTOadjustmentresultsindownward adjustment of greater than 15%, then you willnotbeeligibleforthetriporotherincentives.For managers, the adjustment will be based on total agencypersistencyandNTOresults.

*Total7thmonthmeasuredisatleast20%oftotalfirstyearpersistency.Ifnotvalid,firstyearless5%willbeusedandnopositiveadjustmentswillbemade.
