from the Transfer Admission Planner will be

uploaded to the UC application.

❖ Follow the directions in the application to enable the

transfer of information.

❖ After your courses from the Transfer Admission

Planner appear in your UC application, review each

semester to make sure all of your courses are

recorded in the application

Personal Insight Questions…..

★ The UC application is both for admissions and UC

scholarships.

★ All applicants must provide responses to the

Personal Insight Questions.

★ UC Berkeley and UCLA use the Personal Insight

Questions in considering you for admissions. All UC

campuses use your responses for UC scholarships but

not necessarily for admissions.

★ The Transfer Center is offering workshops on the

Insight Questions.

Application Tips

➢ If you will have 60 or more transferable units completed by the end of

spring semester your application level is a JUNIOR not a sophomore

or senior.

➢ Apply broadly and use your alternate major option if available.

➢ Don’t send transcripts until they are requested.

➢ If you have attended a non-U.S. college or university the UC will ask

you to provide transcripts prior to admission decision.

➢ You must enter all the courses that appear on your transcripts include

in progress and planned courses. If you don’t know what courses you

need to take for Spring semester, meet with a counselor as soon as

possible.
