• In 2013, campus crafted and passed a Policy on the Use of Unmanned Aerial Systems on campus

• Also, established a governance system for use of UAS - the Unmanned Systems Board

• In 2015, the CSU used the Channel Islands governance system as a model for all other campuses in the CSU
