Chris has worked with UAP TradeLocks over the years to develop some fantastic tools that allow users to open safes and mortice locks. Chris’ recent exciting innovation is the Universal Safe Pick Set which is now available at www.TradeLocks.co.uk.

The Universal 7 Gauge 2-in-1 Pick Set is suitable for most non-curtain safe locks, it allows the user to make up a lock specific pick by adjusting the tension tip and the picking tip to suit an individual lock.

The kit contains five tips giving twenty-five different permutations of pick, which is great cost savings.

Chris, who runs Bel-Chèr Locksmiths & Safe Engineers in Plymouth with his wife Suzzie, has designed an array of tools which make up part of the UAP TradeLocks Signature Range, including the RPCP kit which is highly acclaimed around the globe.

Hundreds of entries were received for our Dragons’ Den competition, and now, after months of anticipation we can finally announce the winner. With a staggering fifty per cent of the votes, Tony Carter, owner of Earls Barton Locksmiths, has won with his design for a Mortice Drill Deflector Plate and Deflector Bypass Tool.

Tony will see his design, a Mortice Lock Drill Deflector Plate consisting of a unique material and bumps designed to deflect and destabilise drill attacks and a Deflector Bypass Tool, developed, produced and added to the TradeLocks Signature Range.
