Henry Strong was a private in the 12th Kansas Infantry. He kept a diary during the Civil War and much of his time was in Fort Smith and Arkansas. UAFS historian Tom Wing will illuminate Strong’s story.

The Rape Aggression Defense system is a program of realistic self-defense tactics and techniques for women. This comprehensive, women-only course begins with awareness, prevention, risk reduction and risk avoidance, and progresses to the basics of hands-on defense training. RAD is not a martial arts program. The courses are taught by nationally certified RAD instructors, and each student receives a workbook outlining the entire program for reference with a free lifetime return and practice policy. wHen do i pAy my reGistrAtion fee?Payment is due prior to the first class meeting. Enrollment is on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration and payment should be made to guarantee your place in class. We accept payment by check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. We also accept cash payments for the exact amount only. wHAt is yoUr refUnd poliCy?Please email or call the center with your request and reason for dropping. If the class is canceled prior to the start, then a refund or credit is offered. No refunds are offered after the class has started.
