Frank Haith, one of college basketball’s top recruiters, just finished his 5th season as head coach at the University of Miami. Haith’s excitement and passion for the game of basketball has already spread throughout his team, school, and the city of Miami.

The backbone of the University of Miami basketball program is the coaching staff’s commitment to player development.
Individual workouts include drills to improve shooting, ball-
handling, post moves, footwork, agility and stamina. Each individual program is developed by Coach Haith and is tailored to fit
the needs of each specific student-athlete.
Beginning on the first day of classes in the fall, the Miami coaching staff works with players in groups of four 40 minutes, 3 times per week, until
the start of team practice in mid-October.

The strength and conditioning program at Miami is designed to attack each player’s individual needs.
Workouts are sport specific, thus enhancing each young man’s strength, agility, speed, and overall athleticism.
Strength coach, Mac Calloway (formerly with NBA’s Orlando Magic) works day-in and day-out with each player throughout the entire year.
