2. Some creep or settlements may occur near the tops of slopes. Foundations near tops of slopes or over sloping ground should be avoided or designed under the guidance of a Soils Engineer.

3. Lot regrading. by cutting or filling may cause ground instability in some situations. For this ~eason, lot regrading should be avoided or made under the guidance of a Soils Engin~er.

4. For building foundat-ion design guidelines, soil explorations should be conducted at proposed building locations for the types of st·ructures planned.

This memorandum does not. include swimming pool work and conditions resulting from the pool construction. Also, this memorandum does not cover finish grading or conditions resulting from. the finish grading for work that is not observed and·tested by our office.

Our professional services, in our opinion, were performed.,. findings obtained and recommendations prepared.in accordance with generally accepted local engineering practices. This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied.
