They will not deviate from this course, not even as a result of the current worldwide fi nancial situation”, says Bertus Heuver on behalf of Aeolus Tyres Europe as an exclusive importer for Aeolus on the European mainland. “The importance of the user is a priority.

The engineers of Aeolus continuously analyse where improve-ments can be made and what the trends and wishes are in the market, especially the European market. In short, how they can develop the most optimum tyre. These introduced treads HN254 and HN369 are on average 15 millimetres broader and are the fi rst ones to benefi t from the new, increased abrasion

resistant rubber compound. We will not change the sharp pri-cing, so the return for the user increases by implementing the-se new innovative Aeolus tyres. These are the reasons for our new slogan that ‘Aeolus is the alternative beside well-known A-brands’.”

The new tyres HN254 and HN369 are supplied direct in the sizes 295/80R22.5 and 315/80R22.5 and soon in 315/70R22.5. The HN254 is thereby the tyre intended for the steering axle and for trailers, while the HN369 is intended for the driving axle(s). Features of both tyres are a broader running surface and a new rubber compound as well as high stability, an even abrasion pattern and a good grip in various road conditions.

‘Innovations to further improve safety and stability’

Aeolus Tyres introduces two new types of truck tyres. With these the brand gives its vision of continuous i

nnovation further shape. The new HN254 and HN369 truck tyres have a broader running surface and benefit from a new

rubber compound. The improvements contribute to road safety as well as abrasion resistance.

The new tyres replace the HN257 and HN355 treads.

Breakdown Service: Quickly back on the road after a breakdownEspecially for its end users Aeolus has set up its Breakdown Service: a 24 hour breakdown service in the whole of Europe. From its European Service Centre Aeolus offers its users an accurate and high quality breakdown service through more than 8,000 tyre specialists. The service vehicles are set up in such a manner that the Aeolus technician is able to work fast and effi ciently on the road. In this way the amount of time stan-ding still is limited to an absolute minimum.

The Service Centre is open 7 days per week and is available day and night in the language you require. As a result of fi xed agreements with its European partners Aeolus Breakdown Service is able to offer attractive tariffs.

The Aeolus Breakdown Service is able to receive any break-down notifi cation by way of satellite communication. Easy, as satellite communication is used in more and more trucks. A big advantage is the quick and clear communication with the driver and the accurate establishment of the position of the stranded vehicle by way of GPS.

All inclusive Breakdown Service GuaranteeWith its European Breakdown Service Guarantee offers the user a fi xed tariff for the best assistance in the case of tyre trouble on the road. In other words, at any time of the day com-plete certainty regarding the costs and the minimum amount of time standing still.

For a fi xed annual tariff for each registered vehicle only the cost of the tyres, including a limited excess, is charged.

Breakdown Service and Breakdown Service GuaranteeRequirements for logistical processes are continuously increasing. Operational reliability is an absolute key

value for any transporter. On the road anything can go wrong and Aeolus is therefore of the opinion that the user should be

able to rely on the quality of the Aeolus tyres as well as the maximum service associated with these.

When the tyres have lost their thread depth, they can be consi-dered for the Aeolus carcass guarantee - on condition that the carcass meets certain minimum requirements. For tyres of 22.5 inches a fee of € 15.- applies.

And it cuts both ways as the user receives a residual amount and the environment is saved as the tyres are collected for re-moulding or recycling and do not end up in the fragile environ-ment.

For the remoulding process as well as the collection of the car-casses Aeolus closely collaborates with Kargro, a qualifi ed re-moulding and removal company. Carcasses which are no lon-ger usable are recycled after which process they can be utilised

again as a base material – granules and rubber powder. Kargro is TüV and ISO (9002) certifi ed.

Aeolus therefore offers an extended life cycle for its tyres and ensures a responsible removal in order that the environment is not unnecessarily burdened.

This fi ts seamlessly into its philosophy: Aeolus is the only alternative for any A-brand.

Carcass guarantee Aeolus utilises highly technical and high quality processes, carries out careful inspections and supplies quality

products. At the end of its first life cycle an Aeolus tyre is suitable for retreading and remoulding;

in other words, thanks to its second life cycle it offers excellent value for money.
