Drop Caps

This is where the first letter of a paragraph that is enlarged to "drop"

down two or more lines, as in the next paragraph. Drop caps are often

seen at the beginning of articles, where the top of the first letter of the

first word lines up with the top of the first sentence and drops down to

the four or fifth sentence. Drop Caps catches the readers eye straight

away and as they are at the start of the article, they make the

audience want to carry on reading.

Emphasis ofChanging the text

Key words in a text may be colored differently to others to show the differences between texts, the

size of text may vary from the importance

in the article, the fontmay change to highlight the use of different emotions and make it interesting. Also, highlighting specific words show the main points the writer is trying to get through to the audience.
