When a person harasses, annoys, alarms, abuses, torments, or embarrasses another through telephone, writing, or electronic communication by doing one of the following

Acts of harassment1) making an obscene comment,

request, suggestion, or proposal2) threatening bodily injury against the

person or family member3) conveying a false report about

another dying or being bodily injured

Acts of harassment:4) causing the telephone of another to ring repeatedly5) making a telephone call and failing to hang up 6) allowing someone to use a phone to do these things

When a person intentionally, knowingly, or recklessly carries on or about his person a handgun, illegal knife (blade over 5 ½ inches long) or club (could be a baseball bat).

3rd Degree Felony unless it is knuckles or a switchblade knife, then it is a Class A Misdemeanor


Organized Crime19

Combination – 3 or more persons who collaborate in criminal activities

Conspires to commit – when a person agrees with one or more persons to commit a criminal act and at least one of them performs an overt act


Organized Crime20

Criminal street gang – 3 or more persons having a common identifying sign or symbol or an identifiable leadership who continuously or regularly perform criminal activities


Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity

“When a person commits an offense with the intent to establish, maintain, or participate in a combination or in the profits of a combination or as a member of a criminal street gang, he commits or conspires to commit one or more of the following...”
