Application Type SCG current transformers are used for metering and relaying. One standard case size with varying window diameters allows a choice of the most economical window size for a required ratio and accuracy. Dual and multi-ratio designs are available upon request. Construction Features The ring core is insulated with thermoplastic core cups and toroidally wound with a fully distributed secondary winding. A protective case molded of structural grade thermoplastic is ultrasonically sealed to withstand full impulse test levels when installed over insulated primary conductors 'White on gray' nameplate information is thermally bonded to the face of the transformer. Secondary terminals are 10-32, brass, stud type with phosphor bronze lock washers and brass flat washers and nuts. SCG current transformers are UL recognized -File No. E96461.
