This collection is made of solid oak wood in combination with lackered MDF. Oak is an extreme durable, hard and strong wood. It enjoys a solid reputation as regards quality and has been a favourite wood of hard wood furniture makers for many years.

As standard, the Tyler collection is made of solid oak featuring white lacquered MDF open shelves and iron base. The open shelves (and the coffee table drawer) can however be finished with a lacquer in a RAL colour of the RAL CLASSIC K5 – semi matt catalogue. All you have to do is supply the code of 1 of the 213 RAL colours when you want to place an order other than the white standard color. (the RAL colors are to be found on www.RAL-Colours.com.)

All pieces of furniture in this collection are made semi- mechanically. This means that their components are to a large extent made mechanically, but that they are finished by skilled furniture makers according to traditional methods. Each piece of furniture is sanded by hand.The color of the oak is called ‘CHALQUE’ , which already provides protection against stains, hand or fingerprints.Extra protection can be provided by using Castle Interiors ’HARDWOODSHIELD’. This product is not a stain remover, but protects wood furniture against stains. However, even if your furniture is protected with the hardwoodshield, you should never allow a stain to set in. Always remove it immediately with a dry cloth.
