1.14 TROUBLE SHOOTING

1. Each PCB controller contains a Serial number label.2. Each glass panel contains a serial number label.3. Ensure that the serial numbers on the PCB and on

the glass panel match. Mismatch causes touch event error, boundaries will need to be readjusted and the system will need to be re- calibrated.

4. Boundaries errors can lead to calibration error or to the first few points not being calibrated.

5. It is your responsibility is to inform integrators, verbally and in writing (when delivering the system) about the above issues.

• Check the flat cable connection to the sensor and the PCB Controller.

• Check that the Rod Holder does not cover the sensor lens.

• Some security settings (permissions) changes are required when using WIN 7 O.S. as a platform for the Crystal Touch Manager application.• 1. Select the C.T.M. icon on the Desktop.• 2. Right Click on the Crystal Touch Manager icon and choose properties.• 3. The properties window appears.• 4. Select the Compatibility tab.• 5. Click the Change settings for all users tab.• 6. The Change settings for all users opens.• 7. Enable the Run this program as an Administrator in the Privilege Level.• 8. Click on Apply.• 9. Click on OK.
