Special Thanks to Gulf Coast Chapter for hosting Our amazing group of both old & new board of directors for our chapter Karima Durrazai for all she does to promote ENA & our 10-59 chapter – she is willing to

help in any way & is the room reservation guru – she schedules our educational events & found rooms for our state meeting in July! She is also the bylaw specialist & helped us review the old bylaws & make editing suggestions.

Denise McCall who stepped up to be our treasurer this year when the old treasure had to resign – especially grateful for all her ideas & wisdom for our chapter this year.

Sherry Hopp for serving as our treasurer & newsletter chair this year Jonathan Coyne for setting up our new chapter website

2nd Quarter: Karima Durrazai & Denise McCall for organizing the Pediatric Hot Topic’s Conference Kay Sword for organizing the April Pools event

3rd Quarter: Dan DiDonato for representing us on Day on the Hill along with Kelsea Bice, Cassie Campbell, Crissie Richardson, & many other ENA nurses from all over the US.

Karima Durrazai & Ann Marie Hernandez for representing our ENA chapter at the Methodist West Professional Org. Fair May 10th.

Andrea Cressy for presenting a CE event at our May 2nd meeting & Denise McCall for hosting us at Methodist West!

Thank you to Memorial Hermann Katy & our ER director, Malissa Gonzalez, for hosting for this state meeting & providing our lunch Friday

March 26th Kay Sword & I from Texas 10-59 attended the Katy City Council Meeting. Mayor Chuck Brawner proclaimed April 7 as "April Pools Day" for a water safety program co-hosted by Katy Memorial Hermann Hospital and Katy Aquatics.

April Pools Injury Prevention Program hosted by Memorial Hermann Katy, on April 7th – over 88 families registered; attended the Katy City Council meeting where we were presented with a Resolution making April 7th

April 18th from 9a-2p – Pediatric Hot Topics 4 hour conference. 38 attendees… Resilience, Moral Distress, and Workplace Engagement in Emergency Department

Nurses Survey – posted on Facebook for research project…. (told he had 15 responses the first night it was posted…) Survey ends April 25th.
