Hyper-Converged Appliances for SMB, ROBO, Edge, and IoT DeploymentsDataON Kepler 2-node (K2N) hyper-converged appliances are designed for smaller, remote deployments such as small-to-medium sized businesses, remote offi ce/branch offi ces and Edge computing. These environments can present a challenge for IT departments because of constrained budgets, space and power footprints, and IT resources. DataON Kepler appliances are optimized for Microsoft Azure Stack HCI and Windows Server, to create highly available (HA) and highly scalable HCI platforms with RDMA networking to deliver unrivaled effi ciency and performance.
DataON Kepler 2-Node (K2N) Hyper-Converged Appliances with Microsoft Azure Stack HCIDataON K2N solutions are low cost and small-sized hyper-converged appliances designed with an integrated compute, network and storage infrastructure. It simplifi es and maximizes the deployment of Microsoft applications, virtualization, data protection and hybrid cloud services.
K2N appliances combine high-performance NVMe SSDs with your choice of all-fl ash or hybrid storage to maximize performance and capacity. They are available in mini tower, 1U rack, and 2U rack confi gurations. All of them are designed to be turnkey, easy-to-deploy solutions that can be up and running in less than 15 minutes. The nodes in each solution are directly connected to each other without an Ethernet fabric switch. Mini tower nodes are connected via Intel® Thunderbolt™ 3 and rack nodes are connected via 25GbE cables. Rack models are expandable to 16 nodes without needing to replace any hardware.
K2N appliances are validated Azure Stack HCI solutions, designed to help customers get up and running without length design and build times. Built-in integration to Azure makes it easy for IT staff to start using Azure for infrastructure management services and start building cloud skills.
