Climax Although Jing-Mei
slacked on herpracticing, she actuallyfeels confident aboutdoing well at the recital.
Jing-Mei's stubbornmother expects her topractice piano, as ifnothing has gonewrong.
After Jing-Mei hurts hermother, her mother
finally gives up on herbeing a prodigy.
Falling Action She explains that
she never did thebest she could atanything, just to
spite her mother. We discover thatdeep inside, Jing-Mei did have somepride in her piano,this happened
when her mothertold her to take it.
Resolution Jing-Meis mother
already passedaway. Jing-Mei hasthe piano tuned
and sits down toplay.
