What’s Twitter• Twitter is one of the most important social
networks now. In Twitter you can follow other users and give fav or retweet their tweets.
• Twitter has 560 millions of users registrated, and a 75% have more than 18 years old.
The principal page
• This is the principal page, here you can write tweets and read other people tweets.
What’s a Tweet?• One “Tweet” it’s a write message with a
maximum number of words: 140 words.• In a tweet you can write what you want but if
it’s offensive you can be banned. You can also post photos.
Instant messaging
• Twitter has also an instant messaging chat, here you can only chat with an user that you follow and he followback you.
History of Twitter• Twitter was created in march 2006 by Jack Dorsey,
Evan Williams, Biz Sone, and Noah Glass, and launched by july 2006.
• The first prototype was created for the members of Odeo company while thwy were working for a podcasting app. The app was not a succes because Itunes was better.
