From the Pastor:
My dear friends in Christ,
Jesus is reminding us that by being members of the Church community, we are responsible for one another. We may from time to time have to correct someone or call them to task. This should be done in a loving way. That is not always easy during this stressful time of pandemic. It becomes difficult when our advice is rejected. We become apprehensive and not particularly forgiving or merciful toward the sinner. We can’t turn our back. We should go to the one who sins against us and seek to bring them back reconciling them to the Church. We should get help if necessary and when two or three are gathered in His name, He is in our midst. We are never alone. Jesus gives us updated instructions of how to proceed in case of any conflict within the Church community and how to resolve them.
We are looking at revising the Mass Schedule in the near future. It would probably be Sunday at 8:00, 9:30 and 11:00 AM. The Saturday Vigil will remain at 4:00 PM. More details will be forthcoming as we prepare to open our 2021 Mass Book in a few weeks.
The Corpus Christi Christmas Tree in front of the Church is gone. It was a victim of a recent windstorm and could not be saved. If you would like to help finance the replacement and replanting of the tree, please reach out to me or make your donation in memory of your loved one and they will be remembered during the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.
May God bless you all,
Father John
AN ACT OF SPIRITUAL COMMUNION
My Jesus, I believe that You are present in the Most Holy Sacrament. I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen.
RELIGIOUS EDUCATION REGISTRATION “Let the children come to me, and do not prevent them;
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” Registrations for In-Person and At Home Religious Education 2020 are now being accepted for new students and re-registrations for existing students. If you wish to enroll or re-enroll your child/children for the 2020-2021 classes, please contact Bonnie Campbell, Religious Education Coordinator, at 609.234.4724. If interested, we encourage you to call as soon as possible.
CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY OF AMERICA This weekend we pray for students attending The Catholic University of America. The USCCB has designated a collection be taken up. We will send a portion of our proceeds in support of this endeavor.

Stay Safe. Be Well. God bless. Welcome Home.
FROM THE OFFICE OF THE BISHOP Dispensation from the Sunday obligation to attend Mass due to COVID-19 has been extended until further notice.
RCIA Interested in becoming Catholic? If so, think about joining the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), the formation process by which adults enter the Catholic Church. The process is for persons who: • have never been baptized • have been baptized in a Christian faith tradition and desire to enter into Full Communion with the Catholic Church • have been baptized Catholic but were never formed in the Catholic faith and have not completed their Sacraments of Initiation: Confirmation and First Eucharist For more info, please contact the Rectory at 609.877.5322.
FRANCISCAN CUSTODY OF THE HOLY LAND Good Friday Collection: NEXT Sun., September 13, 2020 This year, due to the pandemic caused by the Corona Virus, it was not possible to take-up the Good Friday Collection dedicated to supporting Christians living in the Land of Jesus. Therefore, at the request of Pope Francis, the 2020 Pontifical Good Friday Collection is to be taken up next weekend, September 12/13, 2020. Thanks to Christians throughout the whole world, we will be able to continue taking care of the Holy Places of Christianity, from the Holy Sepulcher to the Basilica of the Nativity.
BAPTISMS
We welcome into our Parish Family the following children who were recently brought to The Lord through the Sacrament of Baptism:
CHLOE MARIE MILLS OLIVIA ANN TERRY
May the grace of the Sacrament be with them always.
Baptisms take place the 2nd Sunday of each month. Please call the Rectory, 877.5322, for an appointment to register for Baptism two months prior to Baptism.
JUNE, JULY & AUGUST SUNDAY MASS INTENTIONS If you have reserved a Sunday Mass at 7:30 AM or 11:00 AM, please know those intentions will be offered at the 9:00 AM Mass. Although this is not a practice here at Corpus Christi, it is permissible to offer a Mass for more than one intention. As we near the Fall, we will re-visit the Mass times. We thank you for your understanding during these uncertain times.
THAT MAN IS YOU! That’s Right! We Are Back! Sat., September 19th
You cannot hold a good man down, especially during this Pandemic! We are continuing our meetings as of the above date. We invite you to join us as we begin this Fall Semester. We are a group of men that have become good friends, your fellow parishioners, who meet in Bogdan Hall on Saturday mornings at 6:30 am. Bring your own coffee. Come grow with us in Wisdom, Faith and Spritually. We view inspiring video presentations on diverse subjects. We then reflect and respond to the teaching and seek ways to apply them to our everyday Faith-life as Men, Fathers, and Brothers. We will be sanitizing and social distancing. Be sure to wear a mask. We look forward to being with you.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart
as working for the Lord, not for men.” — Colossians 3:23
