DISASTER UPDATE AND PRAYER FOR CALIFORNIA: We're getting reports from several of

our congregations in California that many of their members have already had to evacuate. Please pray with us: Dear gracious Father in heaven, You promise to walk with Your people through water and fire. As flames burn and

threaten in California, we ask for Your mercy and protection. Provide for those who have lost or been forced from their homes. Be with the firefighters and workers who serve tirelessly and selflessly. For all those who face difficulties and fears as a result of the fires, let them find refuge and hope in Your Son, Jesus, the Savior of the whole world. Let all Your baptized people proclaim Christ and love others in His name in the midst of this and every situation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE !!!!!!!! Saturday, November 23, 2019

We are currently collecting items for 2 areas – the Nearly New Table and the Children’s Area with toys, games and books. (children’s books only – no others please). We would appreciate items being brought in and placed in the small room off the Sunday School end of the Fellowship hall. Please note that these donations need to be of good quality & in good condition. Silent Auction – could you offer something for that? Please speak to Judy Mason as items go directly to her. Please note that for this area, we are looking for donations of new items and would appreciate knowing their value so Judy has an idea of where to start the minimum bid. (something you buy or make to donate; a gift that has never been used; for

anything else or other suggestions talk to Judy.) Donations for the remaining tables (crafts, baking & deli) should still please be brought in Friday, Nov. 22. New this year will be a record book for you to please record your name and donation. We are sorry to announce that we are not making meat pies this year. “Take out” from the kitchen will still be available.

LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS TO HELP with setting out, arranging, and pricing the

items for the Nearly New Tables and Children’s area, Thursday, Nov. 21 (afternoon and evening), Friday, Nov. 22 (all day). Please contact Carole Pink to let her know if you are available and willing to help..

Any youth (or older- no help turned away) who might be willing to help serve and wait on tables at the Bazaar? Speak to Marge Stark

Anyone willing to help with advertising? Getting it into papers, Cogeco, and online? Again, please speak to Carole.

Thank you so much for getting involved in whatever capacity you are able to help. This is a congregational event and we appreciate your donations, and service on the days leading up to and including Bazaar Day.

If you are willing to help in any way, please speak to Carole Pink.

Operation Christmas Cheer

To share the joy of Christmas with those in our community

who are less fortunate than we are, the “Outreach Committee” is planning to distribute, again this year,

complete Christmas turkey dinner packages. We are asking for confidential referrals from our members. Last year we helped 25 families by making up 25 baskets.

We need your help by:

Providing us with confidential referrals which can be placed into a box located in our church narthex

Donating the funds required for the purchase of perishable and non-perishable food items which will be purchased just before the packages are distributed

Letting the Outreach Committee, Judy Mason—905-641-7546

Howard Bogusat—905-468-3566 know if you would be willing to help package baskets

Praying that this project is a success and that those who receive these gifts are touched by the joy and wonder of our Saviour’s birth and by His love for each one of us.

(please note that we are collecting “monetary donations”

ONLY for this project)

Thank You!
