    Twenty One Plates is an extension of our kitchen and home and just like yourown, it is a place where you can enjoy a comfortable andprivate meal with familyand friends. Separate dining areas, in varied sizes, keep conversations and company

    private; our BYOB policy allows you to bring that special bottle ofwine, corkage-free; and the service and menuflexibilitywe provide might be a little hard to findanywhere else, except, well, your home. But as this is a restaurant too, knowthat you will sometimes have to dine with strangers next to you, ask to be billedbecause, after all, weve done the shopping and cooking for you and cannot reallyask to stay on for as long as you like for obvious reasons.

    The menu, which may change up to three times a year, is aneclectic mix ofour familysoldandnew recipe favorites and our latest experimentsinspiredby theworldsbest cuisines.

    Its not all strictly fusion as what most people thought the initial menuto be. Whether the plate you are about to have is from the chefs familyshand-me-downrecipes or are-creationof a dish weve sampled from a place faraway or one of our happy innovations, it is always for you to enjoy. Becausewhether we eat for the sake of simple nourishment or pure enjoyment, we allknow that food always has to be beautifully good and wonderfullybeautiful.

    Oh, and do know that good food takes a bit of time. Its not an excusefor being slow. Its just how it is when most of the food in our kitchen iscooked as you order them. Ask company to be served all at the same time or ifsome of you dont mind the wait, we will serve each plate as soon as theyre done.

    Menu 05, June 15-October 31 2010To give way to a bigger menu of 21 dishes, we decided to set these starters aside.

    greek salad with sukang iloko vinaigrette, 200PhpFresh chunks of tomatoes and cucumbers, onion and green bell pepper rings,black olives and feta cheese are dressed with our own delicious sukang ilokovinaigrette. The dressing gives this traditional salad a delicious new twist.

    the classic caesar, 250PhpThere are just some classics you dont mess with. Organic romaine hearts aretossed in an emulsion of garlic and anchovies, egg yolk and extra-virgin olive oiland then topped with freshly ground pepper, bacon bits, grated parmigiano andhomemade croutons. No bottles were opened in the making of this dressing.Serving can be split in two.

    The humble tinapang bangus gets some serious lovin from cream cheese andchives. Served with toasts and crackers. Serves two to four.

    tuna croquetas, 180PhpBreaded and deep-fried mashed potatoes with tuna and garlic-mayonnaise fordipping. Six pieces can be shared by two to three people.

    fried chorizo, 220Php (half order) NEW!We could serve the chorizo as is but we threw in the mini baguette so you canmop up the lovely extra virgin olive oil it was fried in. Serves two.

    crispy chicken skin and bleu cheese, 220Php NEW!Forget the vinegar. This pulutan loves to get French-kissed. Blush. Serves two.

    rice, pasta and noodles1 kimchi rolls, 200Php

    This 8-piece beef bulgogi and sushi rice rolls wrapped in kimchi was formerly onthe starters menu but is now on the main menu because it can be a satisfyingmeal on its own.

    Also, we just think that this Twenty One Plates original deserves the top spot on ashort list of 21. Serves one as a main meal or 2 to 4 as a starter.

    2 risotto bianco, 280Php VA simple and rich rice dish with butter, mushrooms andvegetable stock. Cookedpatiently for 30-minutes. Serves one.

The all meat option haschorizo, beef tenderloin chunks, herbed chicken and the seafood has tigerprawns, mussels, squid, white fish fillets. Order some appetizers if you can holdoff your hunger for 45-minutes or call us to pre-order on your next visit. Smallcazuela serves two. Medium paellera serves four. Large paellera serves eight.

    12 udon with sesame and polonchay, 280Php NEW!Vegetarian dishes dont have to be bland and boring. This sweet, spicy, sour andsalty noodles with loads of sesame seeds and polonchay is not only good for you,its just really good.

    Pastas and noodles can be shared by two.main plates12 steamed white river cobbler fillets with ginger, leeks and soy sauce,260PhpSteamed white fish on a bed of Chinese cabbage and topped with crisp ginger,leeks, chives and coriander. Delightfully simple. Serves one.

    13 fish tempura with balsamic reduction, 260PhpLightly battered white fish with a rich wild honey and balsamic reduction. Servedwith a lettuce, cucumber and tobiko salad. Serves one.
