Program Objectives– To demonstrate through live surgery
techniques of breast reduction and breast augmentation using shaped breast implants newly approved by the FDA.
– To provide comprehensive panels discussing fat grafting to the breast, use of acellular dermal matrix and new synthetic substitutes, and the use of shaped breast implants for breast augmentation.
– To present current trends and techniques in breast reconstruction including tissue expanders, direct to implant reconstruction, latissimus flaps, TRAM flaps, and microsurgical SIEA and DIEP Flaps.
– To evaluate a variety of techniques used in combined augmentation mastopexy.
– To provide input for problem cases from the registrants from a panel of experts

Accreditation
The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education in order to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons designates this educational activity for a maximum of 17.5 category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those credits that he/she actually spent in the activity.
Disclosure Policy
As a provider accredited by the ACCME, SESPRS must ensure balance, independence, objectivity and scientific rigor in all its individually sponsored or jointly sponsored educational activities. Presenters are required to disclose all relevant financial relationships with commercial interests, and these disclosures will be announced to the audience verbally and via slides. If a speaker fails to make a disclosure, that speaker is precluded from making a presentation at the meeting. Additionally, if any unapproved or off-label use of a product is to be referenced in a CME program presentation, the faculty member/participant is required to disclose that the product is either investigational or it is not labeled for the usage being discussed. SESPRS shall convey any information disclosed by the faculty member/participant to the CME program audience prior to the activity.
Special Needs
Any special needs requests such as handicap status or dietary restrictions need to be submitted to the SESPRS office by December 1, 2012.
Registration Fees
Resident rates are complimentary with a letter submitted with their registration form from their plastic surgery program director. Physicians in their first and second year after residency are eligible for the New Physician rates. The registration fee for a spouse includes admittance to meals and social functions. Spouses wishing to attend symposium presentations must register under the “Office Personnel or Nurse” category. Please register early. Full refunds minus a $50 service charge will be considered if written notice of cancellation is received by December 1, 2012; a 50 percent
refund will be given if written notice of cancellation is received by December 12, 2012. No refund will be given after December 12, 2012.
