Sort Your Waste & Save

STEP 1: sortBefore you load your car or trailer, separate your waste from items that can go to the Community Recycling Centre (CRC) or that may be accepted by the Revolve Centre Operator.Items accepted at the CRC and the Revolve are FREE to drop off.

Specified items must be paid for at the weighbridge and dropped off in the nominated recycling area prior to mixed/general waste being unloaded. The customer must return to the weighbridge in between unloading.

Fees & Exemptions Policy• Only Wollongong LGA pensioners are entitled

to exemption. ID and proof of residency required. The pension card holder must be in the vehicle at the time of transaction.

• Maximum of two General Waste and two Garden Organics transactions per pension card in each financial year.

• Each transaction must be 100kg or less for pensioner exemptions to apply.

• Charities are not exempt from Specified Item Fees.

• $229 non-conforming charity waste fee: this charge applies to charities who have been granted Section 88 Levy Excemption by the Environment Protection Authority and who deliver material that does not comply with councils Wollongong Waste and Resource Recovery Park - Fees & Exemptions Policy. Charities that do not have an EPA Section 88 Excemption will incur full commercial waste disposal rates.

Revolve CentreAcceptance of all items at the Revolve Centre is at the discretion of the Revolve Centre Operator.Reusable items, in good condition, that MAY be accepted by the Revolve Centre Operator include: • Sporting and Camping goods • Cutlery and Crockery • Toys • Furniture • Tools • Books • Building materials

Items refused by the Revolve Centre Operator will be required to be disposed as General Waste. Fees and charges apply.Customers are advised to have electrical items, tools or appliances purchased from the Revolve Centre inspected and deemed safe by qualified persons prior to operation.
