Race 2: There was approximately a four (4) minute delay due to having to reset the photo finish system. Race 3: None Race 4: None Race 5: None Race 6: None Race 7: STEWARDS INQUIRY/TRAINER OBJECTION/FIRST TURN/DQ: Following the running of the race the stewards posted the inquiry sign as several horses were in tight quarters in the first turn. The trainer of seventh place finisher #1 CHICLE SPARKS, ridden by Alex Anaya, also lodged an objection against fifth place finisher #8 STREET FLYER, ridden by Francisco Garcia, and third place finisher #9 NAVY QUEEN, alleging interference going into the first turn. After reviewing the videos and taking testimony from the riders involved, the stewards determined that as the horses were going into the first turn #8 STREET FLYER crossed over without sufficient clearance causing a chain reaction of events putting several horses, #1 CHICLE SPARKS, in tight quarters. For interference going into the first turn #8 STREET FLYER was disqualified from fifth position and placed seventh. The original order of finish of 7-2-9-4-8-6-1-3 was changed to 7-2-9-4-6-1-8-3. Race 8: None

Significant Incidents /Matters:

Race 1: None Race 2: STEWARDS INQUIRY/START/NO CHANGE: Following the running of the race, the stewards posted the inquiry sign due to an incident at the start of the race in which tenth place finisher #5 APOLLITICAL RUN, ridden by Mark Jasso, broke slowly and trailed the field. After reviewing the videos and taking testimony from the rider involved, the stewards determined that prior to the break #5 APOLLITICAL RUN began to rear as the front doors were opening, however, the starting gate of #5 APOLLITICAL RUN opened in unison with the rest of the field and the assistant starter released the horse properly. The horse was given the opportunity of a fair start and therefore the stewards did not make any change to the original order of finish. The official order of finish is as follows: 2-9-7-10-6-1-4-11-8-5. Race 3: After the race David Lopez, the rider of #2 ITS ALL ON SLEW, was attended to on the backside by medics and then transported to the hospital with an undisclosed injury. Race 4: STEWARDS INQUIRY/START/NO CHANGE: Following the running of the race, the stewards posted the inquiry sign due to an incident at the start of the race in which fifth place finisher #6 SPRING THE TRAPPE, ridden by Patrick Canchari, broke extremely slow and trailed the field. After reviewing the videos and taking testimony from starter Darrin Hall, the stewards determined that the starting gate of #6 SPRING THE TRAPPE opened in unison with the rest of the field and the assistant starter released the horse properly. The horse was given the opportunity of a fair start and therefore the stewards did not make any change to the original order of finish. The official order of finish is as follows: 1-4-2-3-6-5.

Race 5: None Race 6: None Race 7: None Race 8: 2 JOCKEY OBJECTIONS/TURN/NO CHANGE: Following the running of the race there were two jockey objections. Denny Velazquez, the rider of the fourth place finisher #9 MISS SHAWHAN, lodged an objection against second place finisher #4 ATHENA THE GODDESS, ridden by Francisco Garcia, alleging interference around the turn. In the second objection Francisco Garcia, the rider of the second place finisher #4 ATHENA THE GODDESS, lodged an objection against first place finisher #1 YES PLEASE, ridden by Glenn Corbett, also alleging interference in the turn. After reviewing the videos and taking testimony from the riders involved, the stewards determined that both riders appeared to check briefly at different points in the turn, however, the films were inconclusive as to any interference that took place, therefore the objections were disallowed. No change was made to the original order of finish. The official order of finish is as follows: 1-4-5-9-6-3-2-8.

TURF PARADISE RULING #19-20TP103 Having been properly noticed for a formal hearing and having appeared on January 28, 2020, Owner/Trainer Cindy Louise Krasner (ADG #12436) is hereby issued an official warning after receipt of a report from Industrial Laboratories indicating that blood sample #E358452, taken from the horse "NUDIAMOND", first place finisher in the eighth (8th) race on November 9, 2019, at Turf Paradise was confirmed positive for the presence of the Class III foreign substance BOLDENONE at a concentration of approximately 161 pg/mL (+/- 18 pg/mL) in blood. In addition, a split sample report was received from Texas A & M Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory confirming the presence of BOLDENONE at a concentration of 155 pg/mL (+/- 10 pg/mL) in blood sample #E358452 taken from the horse "NUDIAMOND" from the eighth (8th) race on November 9, 2019, at Turf Paradise. This drug calls for a Category B penalty as put forth in the Uniform Classification Guidelines for Foreign Substances and Recommended Penalties Model Rule (January, 2019 (V.14.0)). A.A.C. R19-120(C)(1) states that if the stewards determine that a licensee has violated this Section, the stewards shall consult the Uniform Classification Guidelines for Foreign Substances and Recommended Penalties Model Rule, both of which are established by the Association of Racing Commissioners International (ARCI). The penalty guidelines call for a minimum penalty of fifteen (15) day suspension and a five hundred ($500.00) fine absent mitigating circumstances and a maximum penalty of a sixty (60) day suspension and a one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) with the presence of aggravating factors. After testimony was taken from the licensee the board of stewards determined that two mitigating factors would be considered in this case. Ms. Krasner has never had a Class 1,2,3, or 4 medication violation in almost 40 years of training race horses. Furthermore, testimony was received from the Arizona State Medical Advisor that there was a strong possibility that the drug had been given to "NUDIAMOND" prior to Ms. Krasner claiming the horse on September 21, 2019, at Hastings Park. The race that "NUDIAMOND" tested positive for BOLDENONE was on November 9, 2019, yet sixteen (16) days later "NUDIAMOND" was again tested after winning the third race on November 25, 2019, and tested negative. The horse "NUDIAMOND", first place finisher of the eighth (8th) race on November 9, 2019, is hereby disqualified and declared unplaced. Significant Incidents /Matters:

Race 1: None Race 2: None Race 3: None Race 4: STEWARDS INQUIRY/LATE STRETCH/DQ: Following the running of the race, the stewards posted the inquiry sign due to an incident in late stretch involving first place finisher #2 ROLLS ROYCE DEAL, ridden by Jorge Carreno, second place finisher #7 John Paul’s Bet, ridden by Kody Kellenberger and fourth place finisher #3 HOWDY KINGKOWBOY, ridden by Enrique Garcia. After reviewing the videos and taking testimony from the riders involved, the stewards determined #2 ROLLS ROYCE DEAL who was on the inside, kept a straight course, while #7 JOHN PAUL’S BET, who was on the outside, drifted inwards under right hand use of the riding crop putting #3 HOWDY KINGKOWBOY, who was in the middle, in very tight quarters causing his rider to check. The stewards’ decision was to disqualify #7 JOHN PAUL’S BET, from second place to fourth place for costing #3 HOWDY KINGKOWBOY the opportunity of a better placing. The original order of finish of 2-7-5-3-6-1-4-8 was changed to 2-5-3-7-6-1-4-8. Race 5: None Race 6: None Race 7: None Race 8: There was a two (2) way shake for #3 IRISH CHARLIE. Respectfully submitted Magdaleno Perez, State Steward Gary Baze, State Steward John Adams, Associate Steward
