The tundra is an unusually cold and dry climate. Precipitation totals 6-10 inches of rain a year, which includes melted snow. This is almost as little as the world's driest deserts.
How much rain fall the tundra has
Polar bear: They usually live at the far northern edge, because they find almost all of their food in the Arctic Ocean.
Wolves: travel in small families and attack caribou
on the Arctic tundra that are too slow to stay with the pack
Artic foxes: eat all sorts of meat including lemmings Arctic hares, and birds.
Wolverines :are known to be ferocious and strong. but they can attack prey animals much larger than themselves.
Snowy awl: hunts for and eats small rodents such as lemmings.

Keeps sea levels relatively low The Ice is trapping the carbon, so a lot of it
doesn’t go into the atmosphere
