UPPERCLASSMEN
INSTITUTE OFNURSING
The learning options for First Semester of SY 2020-2021 require their peculiar instructional designs and cost structures that are different from the in-school learning format. These differences entailed development costs for (1) accelerating the preparation of learning resources (which basically means putting faculty to work overtime before the school year starts) and (2) finding ways to enhance the quality of the online learning experience (by setting up new systems of tracking student engagement andand teacher-student interactions on Canvas, of consultation for guidance counseling, career-placement, and health services, of even co-curricular activities via MS Teams, etc.)
The total rebate reflected in the FEU Tuition and Other School Fees (TOSF) has factored in the above-cited requisites of quality remote learning as well as the concern of providing financial assistance to the students who, like FEU, are facing the financial challenges of the pandemic. Each student and degree program will have different rebates mainly shaped by variations in the total number and type of enrolled courses.
MiscellaneousMiscellaneous Fees page reflects the programs and services that must still operate based on the academic development directions of the university and in compliance with CHED’s requirements for Student Affairs and Services.
LaboratoryLaboratory Teaching Units (SAF) only apply if students enroll in courses with laboratory units. This fee will cover the additional 2 teaching units, rendered by a faculty, for every 3 teaching hours of 1 unit laboratory classes.
