Japan is the one of big country in the world. The Japanese names for Japan are Nippon. Japan has more than 3,000 islands located in the Pacific Ocean on the east coast of Asia. Japan is a leading nation in scientific research, particularly technology, machinery and biomedical research. Nearly 700,000 researchers share a US$130 billion research and development budget, the third largest in the world. Japan is a world leader in fundamental scientific research, having produced fifteen Nobel laureates in either physics, chemistry or medicine.

1. Body language , informal speaking.
There are many ways people communicate with Japanese people around them, there are :
Sitting & Standing
When speaking with someone,
a). Do not leave hands in pockets.
b). Do not stand with legs crossed over the other.
c). Do not lean against a wall or door.
d). Do not sit with the ankle over the knee. May sit with legs crossed at the ankles or knees.
e). Do not stick legs out in front on one either on tatami or in a chair.
f). Do not sit in a way that shows the soles of your shoes
g). Sit on the edge of a chair or sofa to show respect. Leaning back shows familiarity.

Emotions & Communication
When is a smile not a smile?
The Japanese smile to communicate various emotions: anger, embarrassment, sadness, and disappointment. Interpretation depends on context.
Eye contact is thought of as rude in Japan. They will often look down at their shoes or off in the air. Take care to not stare.
Silence in Japan is golden and is often used as a negotiating strategy. Do not be tempted to jump in and fill the silence.

LIFESTYLE & CLOTHING ABOUT JAPAN

Japan is a modern country in Asia.Honestly, Japan have more technology than indonesia. Do you know lifestyle in japan? Lets check it out.Japan is famous for its clothing commonly called a kimono. There are many types of kimono :
1. KurotomesodeKurotomesode is the mostformal kimono for married women.

2. Furisode
Furisode is the most formal kimono for unmarried young women. Bright colorful material with striking motifs throughout the fabric.

3. Iromuji
Iromuji is semi-formal kimono, but can be used as a formal kimono when iromuji has a family crest (kamon)

RULES & TRANSPORTATION

In Japan, cars are driven on the left side of the road and have the driver's seat and steering wheel on their right side. The legal minimum age for driving is 18 years. Road signs and rules follow international standards, and most signs on major roads are in Japanese and English. Drinking and driving is strictly prohibited.

The train is the main means of transportation in Japan, especially for connecting the major towns and commuter transport means in large cities like Tokyo and Osaka. Seven regional railway company called the Japanese or Japan Railways, covering most of the towns and villages in Japan. In addition to Japan Railways, there is also a private railway companies, local governments, and private ventures with local governments.

How they find health care

When you visit a hospital or clinic, you will need to show your health insurance card. If you don't have one, you will probably be charged a nominal fee. Otherwise, you'll pay 10 or 30 percent of the costs, depending on which kind of insurance you have (see below). In addition, you'll be given a prescription for any necessary drugs, which you take to be filled at a pharmacy. I'm not sure why the pharmacy is always located in a separate, but nearby, building.

HOW THEY TREAT THE SICK PEOPLE

The health care system in Japan provides health care services, including screening examinations, prenatal care and infectious disease control, with the patient accepting responsibility for 30% of these costs while the government pays the remaining 70%. Payment for personal medical services is offered through a universal health care insurance system that provides relative equality of access, with fees set by a government committee.

People without insurance through employers can participate in a national health insurance programme administered by local governments. Patients are free to select physicians or facilities of their choice and cannot be denied coverage. Hospitals, by law, must be run as non-profit and be managed by physicians. For-profit corporations are not allowed to own or operate hospitals. Clinics must be owned and operated by physicians.
